2008 Group Testing dates have been arranged in the BooneThomasvilleKings MountainFayettevilleChapel Hill, and in the Raleigh areas.  Please call the main office for more information.
 

Basic WJIII: $90 this combination tests comprehension, fluency, and skills in Reading, Math, and Language.  Beginning readers may also be tested in Story Recall, Understanding Directions, Picture Vocabulary, and Oral Comprehension.

Basic Plus: $135 We recommend this combination of tests for students during their middle and early high school career.  The additional knowledge that you gain from this combination of tests and scores will help you determine your child's readiness for high school and college level work.  In addition, your child will be tested in Academic Knowledge (Science, Social Studies, Humanities), Quantitative Concepts, Reading Vocabulary, and Editing.  You can arrange for additional consultation time in which we can help you plan for these important years.

Learning Difference: $175 We recommend this combination of tests for students who are struggling with learning to read. Your child will take all the tests listed above and Oral Comprehension, Word Attack, Sound Awareness, Spelling of Sounds, and Picture Vocabulary.  A longer consultation providing you with information unique to your child's special learning needs can be arranged with the consultant.

Group Testing: Would you like to bring an L.E.S. Consultant to your area to work with a group of your friends? Our consultants are available to work with groups of six or more students.  Our way of saying thank you for your help in arranging the testing in your area is to give your family a discountYour discount will be based upon the number of students tested.

Academically Gifted Program Placement: Customized tests are available for academically gifted program placement. 

Educational Consultations: $75 hour Your family's educational needs are unique.  Sometimes you want to talk with someone who has worked with your child, and is familiar with helping children with various learning styles and needs at any grade level.  We are available to answer your questions and help you plan for a successfull academic year.
 

Meet Our Consultants:

Sherry Hemingway M Ed. Early Childhood and Elementary Education, LES Director: Sherry has helped families as an educational consultant, WJIII administrator, private school test coordinator, and tutor with LES.  Sherry has homeschooled children through high school.

Donna Annis B.S. English: Donna has homeschooled children through high school and has blessed many with her talent as an academic tutor for struggling learners.

Carol Polischak B.S. English: Carol is a wonderful encourager and administers the WJIII to families, groups, and within private schools.  She teaches classes in the areas of writing, grammar, and literature.  Carol has homeschooled children through high school.

Ginny Brown B.A. Art: Ginny has homeschoole children through highschool and has helped foster within many of our local children the love for art.  Ginny provides the WJIII to families and homeschool groups.

Serena Manning M.Ed. Special Education: Serena offers families the wisdom which comes from working with children of all ages and learning styles.  Serena administers the WJIII and is available for personal consultations and tutoring.

Melanie Hum M.Ed. Special Education: Melanie has worked extensively with children of all learning styles, challenges, and ages as a tutor, special needs program developer, consultant, and WJIII administrator.
